Overall

Soup of the Day - Pumpkin Soup

The Soup was nice without any additional pepper for taste. It is sweet and the taste of the pumpkin was not strong. It is just nice of this soup. Rate 8/10

Beverage - Mango and Strawberry Italian Soda

This syrup beverage should stir it before drinking as the soda was not sweetened soda. It is very refreshing and not very sweet too. Rate 7.9/10

Main Course - Dory Fillet Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce

The Dory Fillet was not over-cooked and the skin of it is crispy while it's hot. The pasta was not dried out and under-cooked. The pasta texture is just nice. The sauce of tomato flavor is nice with capsicums, onion and garlic slices for the full flavor of it although it is a bit sourly due to the tomato taste. It is a nice dish but a bit too much for the pasta portion. Rate 8/10

That's all for this week's Food and I hope to bring all of you more great food and affordable prices islandwide.

Overall

Double Mushrooms Jade Beancurd - The beancurd is nice and silky with shimeiji and thin white mushrooms and vegetables. The sauce is nice too. The beancurd was fried to perfection without over burnt or harden. Rate 6/10

Stir-Fried Baby Cabbage with fried garlic - The baby cabbage was tender and crunchy and it does not over stir-fried and the color was very nice. The fried garlic was not over fried it's nice but after a while it is not that crispy and eaten to the bottom part was rather salty. Rate 5.5/10

Roasted Crispy Chicken with Pepper Salt - The chicken was awesome. The crispiness of the chicken skin was not dry and it's very nice to chew on. The meat was great! Tender and not hard or dry with the plate of pepper salt was the great combination but it's salty and it's covering the pepper taste. Without the pepper salt with the original taste was great! Rate 8/10

Seaweed Seafood Soup - The soup is not oily with the taste of the seafood. The fish slices was fresh and all the seafood ingredient was freshly made for the soup and it's perfect! Rate 9.5/10

Claypot Big Prawns With Pumpkin Sauce and Curry Leaves - This dish was the most tempting one. The pumpkin sauce was perfectly made with a touch of curry leaf flavor. It is not spicy at all and you can't taste the pumpkin taste. Awesome! The prawns are big and it's not overcooked it is very tasty with the sauce. Rate 10/10

HongKong Style Steamed Red Snapper - This dish was the most expensive one compared to other dishes. The price of the fish are seasonal. The red snapper was fresh, moist and tender! With the sauce was not very salty and very tender to chew on and the steaming time was not very long because the fish was timed so that it will not over steam to harden the meat of the fish. Rate 9.5/10

Seafood Fried Rice - The rice does not stick together and it is separately rice that makes this fried rice a perfect one. Although it's quite oily, but it's very nice with seafood and egg and garnish with cabbage stripes. Rate 8.5/10

It was a 5 pax dinner which makes each of this dish a equal portion for each of us. Although their staffs willing to serve to take our order, they're also busy like bees. Service was good. They repeated our order and told us how many dishes we ordered. For the drinks we had to buy ourselves and they need to improve on this as to order together with the dishes. Most of all more staff should be hired for packed dinner like this. Our bill for these 6 dishes is $108.00 excluding drinks.

The food was awesome! The Vege Eleganza was perfect! The pumpkin was smooth and sweet in taste. Broccoli was great with cheese toppings, yum!

The Mentaiko Spaghetti with salmon tataki was nice and the salmon was nice and fresh. The sauce was slightly spicy but it's not very very spicy at all with little fish roes in the sauce.

The Nutty Mocha Frappy was nice with fresh nuts flavor in the mocha drink. It's nice to the last drop. With great cream with chopped nuts toppings.

Lastly, the lychee jazz had a great refreshing minty taste with a small piece of mint leaf along with a lychee fruit the soda was great and refreshing after a meal like this.

I will rate is 10/10.

Overall

The omelet was nice while its hot. The steam song fish head with fried garlic topping was marvelous! The garlic was fried to perfection and it's so crispy most of all the fish was tender and fresh. The wolfberry leaves soup with egg was nice not oily and not over flavoring on the soup itself and vegetable was tender and nice with fish slices. The crabmeat beancurd was nice too with some vegetables such as holland beans and carrots. The beancurd was nice too. The Stir-fried mee sua was not sticky and it's really the skill of cooking mee sua as it will stick together if the fire was not handled carefully and it's not salty it's nice. Lastly, the scallop with broccoli. The scallop was not over cooked it is just nice the broccoli was crunchy and it's easy to chew on. Great! I will rate this 9/10 star.

Overall

The Root Beer was from a glass bottled so it's not much of special, black pepper chicken was very tender with fresh peppery taste. The sides was great for the potato salad as they used red skinned potato that was quite healthy with I think was mayo with chives dressings?...and the pasta was nice too. To my disappointment, the steak of the medium rare was completely different from the one I had at Cathay branch. The meat was quite alright, after which, it was too rare that it's hard to chew. The soup was nice with pepper together that you wouldn't need to add pepper again. The garlic bread was crispy with a great combination of the soup. I rate this 8.5/10 star.
